Thursday Thirteen Plus
Birds do it, bees do it, even educated fleas do it. Let's do it, let's do a Thursday Thirteen.....
Okay, so that's not how the song goes but what the hell, who am I to buck a trend. Having said that I brought my Monday report for this session to a Thursday - so let's call it a Thursday Thirteen. Except, of course, it's a little bit more than a thirteen, it's really rather a thirteen plus.
Agh, I'm just confusicating the issue, have at it. Here'sThirteen plus ways to pleb your budder...
It's been a rather dry year writing wise, with no more than 20k written altogether on pieces designed to sell. Hopefully that will change soon. I can smell the taste of chaos and rebirth in the air.
1. Double D.3 reports - Twelve of these little beggars are now posted on my forum. A fairly popular forum too nowadays, and with *gasp* a new, easy to remember url. So if you ever get some free time, pop over for a laugh to www.sjwillingforum.com and take a peek. You'll also find here some heartbreaking, well to me, poetry that I wrote when in the process of courting Teri (They're in the excerpts section) and a bunch of excerpts from the Willing books and some for the regular books I've planned. The PIACT info area is rather lacking, just haven't had time for that lately. Will have to put that on my list of 3,256 items to do.
2. Alien abductors attempt to infiltrate parliment, unearthly agents were captured by MI5 after showing extremely high levels of IQ. "When we found the perpetrators had an I.Q. of 85, three times the average of your regular politician, we knew something was wrong." Our source within MI5 commented.
3. Poseidon VII - Actually sales aren't great, but selling 6 eBooks a month, four months after release, is better than Cyberius III managed. (Sales for Cyberius III were non-existant after the fourth month.) Have been informed by Samhain that one of the bigger online review sites just requested Poseidon VII. Am hoping this will finally lead to a good review that gets posted. Getting ads and things ready for the big print push in 2008. Am so looking forward to seeing my first book in print.
4. Why did the wall walk into the pub.... Because he wanted to get plastered.
5. Valencius Covers His Tracks Have an excerpt from this up on my forum.
6. Space Burps Slooooow!
7. The only good zombie is a dead zombie. Uhm, let me rephrase that...
8. Huw's Entappathe Whorled Sadly hiccuped
9. Life's mystery #62. If you hide the vibrators in the shoe box, under the loose floorboard beneath your bed - the kids are always the first to find them.
10. Pet shop owners are astonished by a spate of thefts involving dog leashes. Police say they now have some good leads...
11. Terras IV -- Next issue coming soon
12. Red Balloon/Red Dragon, Blue - Stagnant
13. Cartoons - the mirrors of ourselves that make us laugh.
14. Swansong - whistling tunelessly.
15. Here Be Dragons Roar
16. Now why did someone send me these runes...?
17. Dante I -- Woo, actually wrote some on this one.
18. May the only regrets I have, be regrets for the things I've done, and not for the things I failed to do.
19 Love You To Bits laughable.
20. Quote of the week. He has all the virtues I dislike and none of the vices I admire.
Sir Winston Churchill
Thanks all for popping by, hope y'all enjoyed my little foray into the weird and wonderful and looking forward to seeing you all around the Interwaves :)
Have a good week!
